Unit was on two floors, with BRs upstairs.
Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Very nice indoor pool and activities building. Car is necessary to enjoy the area. Very nice unit and nice resort.
Beaulieu estate, including the National Motor Museum on the grounds, is nearby and is a must see for classic car enthusiasts. The largest classic car show in the UK is held there one weekend each Fall and another somewhat smaller show in the spring.
The ferry to the Isle of Wight is nearby, and that is well worth a days visit. A palace there that was a favorite of Queen Victoria is open for tours.
Another good day trip is to the Historic Ships at Portsmouth, including Lord Nelson's flagship at Trafalgar, HMS Victory, the salvaged remnants of King Henry VIII's HMS Mary Rose, and HMS Warrior, England's first ironclad, launched in 1860.
On Saturday's, there is a market on the High Street of Lymington that is fun to shop before checking in. There is also an antiques market on Sundays in the countryside on the road from Lymington back to the motorway.

After climbing three outside stairs, the large clean spacious unit with a full kitchen has a balcony overlooking a practice golf course and a lovely view of the Solent and the ferry to the Isle of Wight. A day's drive will take you to Beaulieu and also to Stourhead Garden, which is fabulous to any gardener. The resort has a pool, tennis, a restaurant and a close drive to a grocery. We buy a British Heritage Pass and go to anything close, so are not at any resort for much of the day. This resort is highly recommended. Our unit was great for families with a 2nd bathroom and a murphy bed in the living room but seniors would have to talk to the desk about other units. No timeshare presentations that we heard. The laundry unit was in a separate building. A car is necessary to enjoy the area's attractions. There is a mansion and several buildings spread over well landscaped grounds giving a feeling of privacy. No activities scheduled unless arranged according to your interest. We were attracted by the history and gardens of an area we had not visited before and enjoyed the visit very much.
